Calvin Vu: From the typology quiz, my place on the political spectrum would be leaning towards the left, giving me the result of, "Next Generation Left". Now I do believe I have more liberal views on situations, but I do not like to associate myself with any party. Recent events have brought the worst in the parties and has shown me that the two big parties are just as disgusting as each other. I do not have a main source of political influences if from a specific person. I find that my political stance and view on such issues are based upon what I see everyday. The media, finding out the bias behind the media, our citizens, and of course how our citizens interact with one another. Though I'm taking this class because I need a credit, I also took this class in hopes to learn more about our government. It sounds vague, but I just want to learn more about politics. This year's election has brought the worst in people and it's compelling to see all these arguments. I really hope to see all the different views and arguments in this class as well as having a better understanding of my local government. Sadly, I did bad on the knowledge quizzes.
